Yeah, I don't know why more guys don't just use the power switch and the 4 second delay for shutdown in the BIOS.

I run a remote wire off my eject button too lol. My personal taste is for minimal clean designs though so I just set power off after 4 seconds in the BIOS and wire the eject in to the main power button. Works very well and as a side bonus I never have that "oh crap" moment you get when you realize that you forgot to eject the disc before you powered down.

As for the drive in the back, the design is a compact tower LAN box so it is not a HUGE deal to get to. Would have to get up out of your chair though.
