It's all in the shader's speed, that's where the works done. The shaders on my 8800GT are at 1905MHz.
Even my 8800GTS 640 is getting 5456ppd with the shaders at 1710MHz.

I'm using Forceware driver 177.40 which gave a massive ppd increase from 177.35.

Actually, my mistake. It was the move to 177.35 from the earlier driver that gave the big jump in output :?

Come on chaps, lets get some more GPU's folding. :)

Don't need to be running 24/7 to rack up some decent points, just a few hours, overnight maybe.

You can still fold on ATi GPU's too, btw.

Heh, 'accidentally' ordered a new gfx for my work pc along with a 1U rackmount nas box and some other bits we needed.

Had been using the 8800GTS out of my son's pc while it's out of action having water cooling installed.

Got a cheap and cheerful Palit 9800GT from Scan, fairly decent performing stock cooler (although a little noisier) so it overclocked pretty well.

Running at GPU 726, Memory 1041, Shaders 1855 and hitting around 60c under load.

Fahmon reckons it's good for 5456.84ppd. :D

Can't wait to get Jake's pc finished so I can get that folding again too, be making some serious progress towards catching you then IanF.

You're already doing a good job at catching me, it's already down to 11 months. <wwf>

I did manage to slide quietly past the million point mark a few days agos now though :)

We need to find a way of getting more folders on the team, at the moment I feel like I can't switch the pc off.

Maybe we should pm everyone on the forum who says they've just fitted a GPU waterblock?

Aye, congrats on being a folding millionaire. =D>

Know what you mean about not wanting to turn pc's off, I lost about 4 days of gpu folding because of i34.

When I get Jake's pc back up and running, should be on for around 18k ppd on a good day. :)

I guess you got your son's PC online now cos your daily points has jumped up big style!

With that sort of output you'll be past me in a few months :(

Got another rig under way, is kind of like a spare cum budget build for whoever asks me for one first.

Mainly just need to get 2x1gig ram to get it up and running.

Has the 8800GTS 640mb that was in Jake's pc, good for another 5k ppd when it's done.

Had to stop GPU folding on my home pc.

Had an insane leccy bill for the last quarter.

Also means that I won't be folding on my son's PC when I get it home either. :(

Still, I just got some memory to put in the 'spare' rig I'm building, so I'll get that folding at work when it's done. :)

This 256MB 8800GT I got is an awesome folding beast.

Got it at bargain price of £47, add a cheap NorthQ 80mm copper vga cooler for £12.

Awesome.
