doesn't that leave the braiding a bit baggy on the cable?

The braid will go over the end easily, you just need to pull it tight when you heat shrink the ends, the heat shrink though(depending on which one you use)might be a bit tight getting over the ends.

Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the end of a SATA cable and make it shorter?

Will 10mm Braiding fit over all of the 24 pin ATX cables?

Thanks in advance.

You might struggle a bit getting them all through if its streched it will be pretty see through so ideally the bigger the better you want something bigger that you can pull tight so the weave is closer together witch will hide the wires.

Hey guys, not exactly cables being braided here... hose :D

Going to be braiding my 3/8 OD hose, which should I use? I don't mind if you can see it slightly I just don't want the reflective glare which you sometimes get from black hose :) cheers.

10mm or 12mm would be the best then

best would be get a little of each and see what one is best unless marcus can do a little experiment for you

I found a site that specializes in Braiding. Am I allowed to post a link to another site that sells braiding???
They sell a HUGE selection of colours and sizes in techflex FlexoPET.
