I see a lot of questions about painting and since painting is a big part of my work (and also a hobby too) I was wondering if you guys would be interested in a "HOW TO" on painting?

If yes, then is there any thing in particular you would want me to cover?

I vote yes, maybe a guide on painting on naked alliminium would be good Dave. considering most of the cases here are ally, and to not prepare ally properly can end up looking awful.

<thumb> good idea btw.

Absolutely. When you think about painting it sounds like a fairly easy task to do...but when it comes down to it there's more to it.

I would certainly appreciate some tips on what kind of paints to use on different surface, how to prepare the surfaces and maybe some stuff about finishes?

I think it would really help.

It might take me a few days coz there is a lot of info to write down. Something tells me this is going to be a BIG "how to"

Hopefully will be done for the weekend.

Hopefully should be useful. Was talking to Marcus last night and we recon there is probably enough information in it that if you came from Mars and had never heard of paint you would be able to paint after reading it :D

Not really an American football fan but it was an awesome win!
