Mmmm that oyster white job looks real nice! Really taking shape now mate, good stuff!

1 question i have though. When making custom panels etc, when cutting to size do you allow for the thickness of the powdercoat also? Such as a opening is say 6", you would cut it like a 1/8" shorter?

Ok so i finally got round to finishing my braiding. Not going to bore you with the process,as it's all been seen before.
I used Twisted 2 core braided cable, mainly because i had loads of it left over from previous builds. If you've used this stuff, then you know how hard it is to use,one snag on a pin and it's ruined grrr.
The good thing about this PSU,is all the wires are black,so you don't get the see through problem, like other PSU's
Some shots of the before, already stripped the 24 pin,so pardon me

And my Power Switches.

I'm well chuffed and glad to say, this will be my last attempt at braiding,no more sore fingers Yippy.Posted Image

Ok i will keep updates coming, for what its worth.Posted Image
I placed some very fine mesh on the back panel cover plate, then secured it to the back panel.should keep the dust out.
Posted Image

Posted Image

Next thing to do is work out all the lighting and cable management,i always hate this stage of a build.Posted Image

Front panel.

Posted Image

Posted Image

This is a crap shot, but you get the idea. Will look better once the rad and drive bay cage is fitted.
Edit :i have since diffused the effect of the Red Led,so it's alot calmer.Posted Image

Posted Image

Next i placed my rad in position and secured it with magnets. These are not powerful magnets,so they won't cause any issues.

Posted Image

Posted Image

Fitted the top rad and tested them.I'm not having flashy led fans in the roof,i don't want to much lighting.

Posted Image

Until next time

Thx buddy,my best so far;)

As you work in the same business, then you know what's involved.
Took me a while, but having the factory with machines and materials, makes it easy. ;)
