Well i it's time to build again,so i will keep it short as poss.
As an avid Elder Scrolls player over the years,i thought i would use a dragon theme in the build.
I'll be keeping my current hardware till some good stuff comes out.
Current specs.
Asus P67 Pro
580 GTX
I5 2500k
60 Gig Vertex boot Drive
750 Samsung
16 Gb OCZ Ram
PSU AX1200
30'' Dell

Currently using my home-made Bench test Station while i plan and work on new build. Here it is

Sadly i had to pass my old TJ07 on to my brother as a xmas pressy,He needed it more than i did.Posted Image
So i bought a Lian Li V2000 from a friend from WCUK (Thanks ACE)Posted Image
I always liked the size and space this case can hold.
This is what i got of him.

test fitted my quad XSPC as well.

Sadly i got no pictures of the front,PSU and back panel after they were cut,but i have with them fitted.
The front panel will not be removed so i have, screwed it to the frame and filled the holes,to give a flush finish.

Here is the front,PSU and back. You can also see the frame that i fitted around the edge, which will hold my new side panels on.

Next i cut and folded my drivebay panels, which will house the pump/res.
The panel on the right was only a test piece,as i'll be cutting a Dragon in the final version.

Next i cut my mid section, with holes for the Slim Blu-ray drive.I will cut holes for cables and tube ,when i fit my hardware.

Liking the front panel, looks good with red acrylic ;)

Also, would you be interested in some mobo blocks for your X58 LE?? I'll have to dig around for mounting screws etc and theres some light marks on the acetal bits but not that bad really. You can have em for postage if you want ;)

A little update.
Been really busy at work,so it's been slow getting my work done.
I got my side panels cut.
Posted ImageThis image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 1024x685.Posted Image
Next i fitted my fittings to hold the side panels on.
I drilled, tapped, then filled the front with Quicksteel (best stuff i ever used for filling)
sanded it all off, then put some filler primer on,ready for the powder coaters.

Test fitted them.Need to do a little sanding along the edges,to allow for the paint when it goes to the powder coaters.

Will be bringing it into work on Monday to fit the M4 Avdels,to screw the side panels to the frame.
Posted Image

I would use M3,which is the standard for thumbscrews, but our tool at work has got a broken M3 fitting.Grrr
So i will have to make my own M4 thumbscrews,as they don't bloody sell them anywhere.
I found some of these fittings at work,so decided to make my own Mnpctech style feet Posted Image
some of these,
Posted ImageThis image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 1024x734.Posted Image
then glued them together, drilled and tapped for M4 screws, to make these.

Well that's it for a while.Pondering on the hardware now.Just ordered a new mobo.MSI Z77A-GD65

Will be changing red acrylic to blue,to match the fans and mobo.
