It has to be either 6850 Crossfire or a 6950. What res do you game at? if it's no more than 1920*1080 you could go 6850 Crossfire else the extra VRAM on the 6850 2GB will be handy at higher resolutions/eye finity etc.

General associated issues with Crossfire can be a pain but with AMDs latest profiles it's not so bad I've read. I think Crossfired cards also look impressive in a case, especially under water!

I'd go for a GTX570,

and I did so I would say that :)
s
I'd always go for a single card over SLI/Crossfire cos to many games don't scale well or will only run on one card.

Like Danny said screen size is worth thinking about.
570/580's are only for us guys with 30 Dell monitors.Posted Image
A 560 Ti would do for smaller monitors.

It doesn't matter what you water cool - it becomes extreme!

Go with 6870 in crossfire

http://www.anandtech...duct/301?vs=305

Much better than a 580 at full hd and also is better than a 6970 too!

Its no point to go 6870cf because its better to go for 6950cf and load 6970 bios and you will have for free 6970 cf performance. Remember to have 2x16 pcie on your mobo.
