Hi Guys,

I am planning a new build. Have used WC before but in kit form - an Alphacool. Was a bit of a disaster due to the case size so I had to dremmel and external mount. This time I want to be sure I have enough space in the case for the rad/res. Kicker is that I also want it to look good so I am looking at Phobya kit.

  • Phobya G-Changer Triple Radiator with 3 x Scythe 1450rpm Gentle Typhoon Fans
  • Phobya Balancer 250 Reservoir Black Nickel

I have a Cosmos S atm and I love it, but this is a new build so I am considering new cases - P183, or TJ07B-W perhaps. So questions

Is there a best case I can get which can mount these components?
The previous kit had joints included - what additional do I need - barb/compression joints? I need to do SLI GPU as well.
Is Phobya kit any good - I will be looking for a good o/c on a 2600?
Where the hell to I mount the rad/fans so they do not block the mobo?

Thx, Proti

Hi Proti

Well i'm sure you can get some ideas from this build.
WARNING there is hundreds of photos in this build, but it is very detailed.
Your case is god enough,so save your money and get some new hardware maybe. ;)

Thanks Andy, I am going with the Cosmos and the build you provided really has given me some ideas. Had to trim back on the radiator though as the top section of a Cosmos, (although it has holes for 3 x 120 fans) is too low to support more than 2.

You can easily get 3x120mm fans in the top section of a Cosmos S.....I have 4 in mine ;)
