Thinking about swapping out my aging CM690 (it's served me well but after much butchering to fit WC, it's starting to show the wear and tear).

Looking around, I could get a CM690 II Advanced but I like the look of a Fractal Designs Define R2. Anyone got one or seen one and can rate it for fitting WC for silence (not overclocking)?

Would be fitting:
Corsair HX1000W
ATI HD5970 (with EK Full Cover block)
ATX Mobo (Q9550 with XSPC Delta v3)
XSPC RX240
Laing DDC-Ultra
5.25" XSPC 1 bay res
4x HDD's
Enough fans to do the job

Otherwise what about a CM690 II Advanced for the above?

Cheers,

looks like a really nice looking case, really low profile with no spoilers or gigantic fins popping out, but then that's way im a silverstone guy.

dont know about watercooling potential

the CM 690 II Advanced has some good watercooling potential it will allow 2 dual 120 rads without modification were as the the R2 i wouldnt really know about watercooling potential far as i know i dont think its very watercooling friendly so id go for the CM 690 II mate.
O and id buy another 240 rad mate a single 240 rad will struggle to cool the gpu and cpu especially if your planning to overclock
check out the link
